Includes a hand-drawn and coloured watercolour illustration titled FATHER TIME, signed J. B. CLAY and dated 16.9.44.
The volume contains a significant collection of original signatures from mid-20th-century football legends. A page titled ENGLISH LEAGUE TEAM. includes the signatures of Stanley Matthews, Wilf Mannion, Stan Mortensen, Jim Taylor, Leon Leuty, Albert Stubbins, Eric Bell, George Hardwick, Joe Harvey, and B. Mozley. A page titled TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR F.C. 1965. features the signatures of Jimmy Greaves, Dave Mackay, Alan Mullery, Maurice Norman, Pat Jennings, Laurie Brown, Alan Gilzean, Neil Johnson, Phil Beal, Eddie Clayton, Cyril Knowles, and Robertson.
