A mid-20th century hand-carved English oak nut bowl by Robert Mouseman Thompson of Kilburn. The circular vessel features the maker’s signature high-relief carved mouse figure to the rim, serving as a handle. The exterior is finished with characteristic adzed tooling, while the interior is smooth-carved to highlight the prominent medullary ray grain patterns inherent to the timber. The underside displays an impressed circular maker’s mark. Dimensions: Diameter not measured.
