A decorative reproduction cut-and-thrust style sword, likely produced in Toledo, Spain, during the 20th century. This piece is modelled after late 16th or early 17th-century European civilian sidearms. The sword features a broad, double-edged steel blade that tapers to a blunted tip, with no visible maker’s marks or stamps present. The hilt is constructed from cast metal, featuring an ornate pierced guard with integrated side-rings and decorative quillons. The tapered grip is tightly bound in brown-toned coiled wire, leading to a matching cast metal pommel decorated with stylized heart and fleur-de-lis motifs. This item is intended for display or theatrical use and is not an authentic military or historical antique. No scabbard is included. Blade length: 76 cm.
