A modern Spanish decorative replica of an 18th-century miquelet-lock flintlock pistol. This non-firing civilian piece is designed for display or theatrical use. The pistol features a dark-stained hardwood stock with a high-gloss lacquer finish. The cast metal furniture is highly ornate, including a side plate with deep-relief scrollwork, a chased trigger guard with floral motifs, and a pommel cap featuring a classic grotesque mask design. The octagonal-to-round barrel has a dull steel-tone finish and a solid muzzle. The hammer is stamped SPAIN on the inner face. A non-removable metal ramrod is fitted beneath the barrel. Overall length approximately 35.5cm.
