An expansive pastoral landscape by the British artist Albert Pollitt (1856-1926), rendered in a naturalistic late Victorian style. The composition depicts a serene river scene with sheep grazing in the middle distance under a vast, cloud-filled sky. The work is executed in watercolour with fine gouache highlights on textured wove paper. It is clearly signed and dated Albert Pollitt 1903 in the lower left corner.
