This collection comprises three distinct anatomical teaching models from notable scientific manufacturers. The first is a human embryo model by Flatters & Garnett Ltd, 309 Oxford Rd., Manchester, depicting a detailed cross-section of the chorionic vesicle stage. It is constructed from hand-painted composite material and mounted on a rectangular mahogany-finished wooden base featuring a circular silvered metal maker’s plaque inscribed Flatters & Garnett Ltd., 309 Oxford Rd., Manchester. The second is a SOMSO human eye and orbit model, a multi-part anatomical aid made of hand-painted synthetic resin featuring a removable eyeball and alphanumeric identifiers including A and 2, mounted on an off-white plastic base. The third is a large-scale human ear model by Gerrard & Haig Limited, Sussex & Surrey, illustrating the outer auricle and inner ear structures in painted composite on a grey-painted base retaining its original circular paper label reading Gerrard & Haig Limited, Sussex & Surrey with the GH logo.
