This lot features a large mid-century modern art glass vase of Italian origin, attributed to the makers of Empoli. The vessel is crafted in a vibrant emerald green colour using a hand-blown technique that creates a distinctive vertical optic ribbing throughout the body. It takes the form of an oversized brandy snifter, characterised by a wide bowl, a decorative undulating scalloped rim, and a short stem leading to a circular pedestal base. Accompanying the vase is a collection of three glazed ceramic figurines. This set includes a Siamese cat “pot hanger” figurine, specifically designed to hook over the rim of a vase or bowl, featuring characteristic point coloration and blue eyes. Also included are two small standing grey mice with oversized ears. There are no maker’s marks or labels present on any of the pieces. Vase height approx. 23 cm.
