A diverse collection of die-cast metal and plastic promotional and vintage-style vehicles from manufacturers including Lledo, Corgi, RIO, and Matchbox. The centrepiece is a wooden display case containing twelve Lledo Days Gone promotional models featuring various liveries such as Bassett’s Liquorice Allsorts, Kellogg’s, Pepsi-Cola, Ovaltine, LNER, Be-Ro Flour, Evans Bros. Coal & Coke, and a Daily Planet Superman truck. Also included is a RIO (Made in Italy) 1:43 scale Mercedes-Benz 770K parade car in black with historical detailing and two fender flags, housed in its original clear display case and decorative outer box. Further boxed items include a Corgi Classics dark green Morris Minor in a themed display case and several Lledo Days Gone window-boxed models including a Post Office van and London Bus. The lot also features a vintage Corgi Toys No. 464 City Sanitation refuse truck with an orange cab and silver compactor body. Assorted loose play-worn vehicles include a BP tanker, a large red bus, Lady Penelope’s FAB 1 from Thunderbirds, a yellow bulldozer, and various smaller cars and vans.
