A pair of vintage-style promotional ceramic kitchenware items produced for the Danish butter brand Lurpak. This set comprises a five-slot toast rack and a two-piece covered butter dish. Both pieces are finished in a cream glaze and feature figural representations of Douglas, the brand’s animated mascot. The toast rack features Douglas leaning against one end and a central ball finial. The butter dish consists of a base plate and a rectangular lid adorned with a reclining figure of the mascot. Each piece prominently displays the blue LURPAK logo, the company’s coat of arms, and the text SINCE 1901. The underside of the toast rack is embossed with the text Made exclusively for Lurpak alongside food-safe symbols.
