A large and diverse collection of approximately 150 vintage pinback badges, divided into three bags of fifty items each. This wide-ranging assortment features various categories including corporate branding, fast food, automotive, regional tourism, trade unions, and commemorative events. Notable brands and advertising pieces include a Sainsbury’s 125th-anniversary commemorative badge, Heinz Invaders, Lloyds Bank, Wall’s, Wimpy “I Love Wimpy Parties”, and Ford. Events and tourism are represented by the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games, “Tales of the Arabian Nights at Fenwick”, Hebden Bridge (The Pennine Centre), Holmfirth, and Herriot Country. The collection also includes social and political ephemera, such as a GMB Union badge stating “SAVE THE NHS – Keep Contractors Out!” and various Royal Naval related items.
