An early 20th-century Edwardian walnut dressing table mirror superstructure, constructed as the upper portion of a two-piece dressing chest. The unit features a large, rectangular bevelled mirror plate set within a pivoting frame, allowing for an adjustable tilt. The base of the superstructure contains a single central jewellery or ‘glove’ drawer, flanked by two open gallery shelves with shaped side supports. The piece is surmounted by a decorative scrolling broken-arch pediment. The drawer retains its original patinated metal drop handle with a decorative, shaped backplate. This item is a standalone upper section and shows the characteristic simple joinery of the period. [Dimensions: 65cm x 82cm x 20cm
