A pair of classic British travel cases manufactured by Globe-Trotter. These suitcases are constructed from the brand’s signature dark brown vulcanised fibreboard, featuring reinforced protective corners and leather-wrapped carrying handles. Each piece is fitted with metal flip-lock fasteners. The interiors are distinct: one case is lined with a vibrant orange material, while the other features a cream-coloured fabric lining. Both cases retain their original gold-toned interior foil labels identifying the maker as “Globe-Trotter, The World’s Most Famous Suitcase, Made in England.” The cream-lined case includes a small, partially obscured handwritten provenance label for a “Dorothy Page” fixed just below the manufacturer’s mark. These pieces represent the durable, lightweight luggage design that made the brand a staple of luxury travel and are frequently sought after for vintage car displays and period-correct set dressing.
