Buyer's Premium:

A comprehensive collector’s lot primarily focused on British aviation history and mid-20th-century memorabilia. The centrepiece of the collection includes three weighted English pewter-effect sculptures by English Miniatures, featuring a Diamond Anniversary 1940-2000 Battle of Britain commemorative piece with a Hawker Hurricane and Supermarine Spitfire, a large 1995 Spitfire on a topographical base, and a de Havilland Mosquito. Complementing these is a small die-cast Spitfire in camouflage livery with IR-G squadron markings. The ephemera section contains three complete vintage card albums: John Player and Sons An Album of Aeroplanes (Civil), John Player and Sons Tennis: An Album of Famous Players in Action (circa 1936), and Brooke Bond History of Aviation. Military interest is furthered by a selection of embroidered patches, including a Scottish Saltire shield with the Order of the Thistle motto Nemo me impune lacessit and a Falconry Mobility eagle patch. Personal accessories include a trench art style bullet keychain lighter, a vintage metal matchbox sleeve, five assorted writing instruments including a marbled blue fountain pen, and a group of five Jaguar-branded automobilia keychains featuring the classic growler and leaper motifs.
