A diverse philatelic assembly featuring Queen Victoria 1d Red issues, SG 43, from Plate 98 (corner letters L-J) and Plate 180 (corner letters J-J and K-S). The collection includes multiple mint blocks and strips of King George VI definitive issues, denominations 1/2d orange, 1 1/2d green, 2 1/2d pale scarlet, and 4d light blue, all inscribed Postage Revenue. Featured is the London 1980 International Stamp Exhibition miniature sheet containing four perforated values (9p, 10p, 11p, and 13p). Postal history includes a 1963 Red Cross Centenary Congress philatelic cover with 3d, 1/3, and 1/6 commemoratives, and a 1978 commemorative cover from Ahmedabad G.P.O. featuring Charlie Chaplin and Mahatma Gandhi with a circular date stamp. Additional stamps and multiples are contained within several semi-transparent glassine envelopes.
