This is a comprehensive vintage coffee service set from the J&G Meakin Studio line, manufactured in England during the 1960s or 1970s. The set features the “Topic” pattern, which is a quintessential example of Mid-Century Modern ceramic design. The motif consists of stylised floral prints in shades of blue and light blue with olive green leaves, set against an off-white ironstone body. The collection comprises nineteen pieces in total: one tall cylindrical coffee pot with a mustard-coloured lid knob, two creamers, six coffee cups, and ten saucers. The saucers are provided in two variations, including eight in a solid mustard-olive green glaze and two in off-white with a matching floral sprig. Each piece bears the authentic Studio J&G Meakin England backstamp with the JG monogram. Coffee pot height 24cm, Creamer height 8cm, Cup height 7.5cm, Saucer diameter 14.5cm.
