A diverse collection of eight beverage advertising items, primarily vintage-style promotional signs. The group includes four enameled metal signs: one for “Timmermans” (Anno 1781, “Strawberry Lambic”), a horizontal “Orval” sign marked “Bière Trappiste Trappistenbier”, a “Trappist van Westmalle” sign stating “Gebrouwen binnen de muren van de trappistenabdij”, and a “Douglas Laing’s Emporium” sign (Est. 1948) advertising “Remarkable Regional Malts & Exceptional Single Casks”. Also present are two plastic-coated prints: an “Estrella Galicia Especial Rivera” sign “Elaborada por Hijos de Rivera, S.L.”, and a “Liefmans Cuvee-Brut” sign from “Oudenaarde – Belgium” celebrating “Masterblenders since 1679”. Completing the group are a cardboard advertising display for “Kwak” beer (Anno 1791, “A unique belgian specialty”) and a round wooden plank sign for “Jura Single Malt Scotch Whisky”.
Condition report:
All items generally appear to be in good to very good condition, exhibiting minor wear consistent with their nature as promotional displays.
