A collection of ten small, glazed ceramic animal figurines, commonly known as Wade Red Rose Tea Whimsies. Each figurine depicts a different creature, including a lion, a dog or hound on a green base, a sheep, a seated monkey, an owl-like creature, a bear cub, a dark blue dolphin or sea creature, an armadillo, a standing bear, and another small quadruped. The figures are rendered in a representational yet stylized manner, finished with various brown, tan, cream, dark blue, and green glazes. No text or manufacturer’s marks are visible on the pieces.
Condition report:
All items appear to be in good overall condition with no apparent chips, cracks, or significant wear.
