A collection of decorative ceramic plates and five ceramic figurines, primarily contemporary collectible issues. The plates include Royal Doulton ‘Brambly Hedge’ series, such as ‘Summer Days’ depicting anthropomorphic mice in a garden scene, and other designs consistent with the ‘Four Seasons’ collection. Further Royal Doulton plates from ‘The Winnie the Pooh Collection’ are present, with titles such as ‘HONEY TREE’ and ‘THE RESCUE, ‘ featuring illustrations of Winnie the Pooh and friends; a visible quote on the reverse of one Pooh plate reads: ‘There was no wind to blow Pooh nearer to the tree so there he stayed. He could see the honey, he could smell the honey, but he couldn’t quite reach the honey.’ Other plate designs include snowman scenes and a Royal Doulton Bunnykins winter scene. The five figurines, crafted from porcelain or fine bone china, depict anthropomorphic animals. One feline figurine is clearly marked ‘ROYAL ALBERT ENGLAND, ‘ ‘Tom Kitten, ‘ ‘Beatrix Potter, ‘ ‘© F. WARNE & CO. 1948,’ and ‘© 1989 ROYAL ALBERT LTD.’ The remaining four figurines are of rabbits. A small separate wooden rake accessory is also present.
Condition report:
All items appear to be in good, used condition, exhibiting no obvious signs of significant damage.
