The lot comprises a group of five die-cast model cars, predominantly featuring iconic vehicles from the James Bond film franchise, alongside a Dinky Toys model. The collection includes a white Corgi Toyota 2000 GT convertible, marked “CORGI”, “007”, and “007は二度死ぬ” (007 You Only Live Twice). Also present is a blue Corgi BMW Z3 convertible, marked “CORGI” and “007”. A silver Corgi Aston Martin DB5 coupe features retractable front guns and an ejector seat, marked “CORGI” and “007”. A gold Corgi Aston Martin V12 Vanquish coupe, consistent with Corgi James Bond 40th Anniversary releases, is also included, marked “CORGI” and “ASTON MARTIN V12 VANQUISH”. Completing the group is an older gold Dinky Toys “Ed Straker’s Car, ” a futuristic coupe from the “UFO” television series, marked “DINKY TOYS, ” “ED STRAKERS CAR, ” and “MADE IN ENGLAND.” All models are constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components for interiors, windows, and wheels.
Condition report:
Condition varies across the models. Some models exhibit moderate paint loss and surface wear, particularly the Dinky car and the silver Aston Martin DB5. Other models show only minor scuffs consistent with handling and age.
