A Chinese Famille Rose polychrome glazed porcelain figure depicting Fu Xing, the Star God of Prosperity, with a child. The standing adult male figure features a long black beard, an elaborate headdress, and richly decorated robes with intricate floral motifs, clouds, and gold accents in turquoise, red, and pink enamels. He holds a green-capped object, possibly a lingzhi mushroom, in his right hand, and cradles a smiling child holding a gold vessel in his left arm. The reverse of the robe features a central red mythical beast, additional floral and cloud motifs, and a distinct single Chinese character, 日 (rì), positioned above stylized mountain and wave patterns. The base is unglazed and hollow.
