A polychrome painted cast iron rooster doorstop, designed in a folk art or farmhouse style. It features a standing rooster figure with a red comb and wattle, yellow beak, and mottled brown/black plumage, perched on a stylized green base with sculpted rocks and foliage. A slender, dark green painted rod extends vertically from behind the rooster, topped by an ornate handle depicting a clenched fist grasping a decorative scroll.
