Auction 8th December - Antiques, Jewellery, Militaria, Coins, Vinyl, Toys, Ceramics, Collectables & More
An Arts and Crafts embossed copper-toned metal umbrella stand, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, featuring an all-over floral and foliate design. The cylindrical form exhibits significant patination and wear consistent with age. A price sticker displaying ‘5.99’ is affixed to the stand’s rim. Contained within are a collection of walking sticks and canes, predominantly crafted from wood. This group includes a stick with a carved wooden human-figure handle adorned with wire accents, another with a pale T-handle (possibly lucite or resin) featuring a brass collar and a small oval label inscribed ‘FINEST / [Walton/Walker] / HAND CRAFTED’, and various other examples with natural wood crook and knob handles. Also present is a collapsed dark red fabric umbrella with a wooden crook handle.
