A pair of British Wardle & Co. ceramic bottle vases, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. Each vase features a bulbous body tapering to a short, narrow neck, finished with a glossy blue glaze that exhibits subtle mottling and widespread crazing. The underside of one vase is impressed with the text “WARDLE” arched over the number “120”.
