This lot comprises three bound volumes of ‘Punch’ magazine. Two volumes, dated 1904, are bound in dark green cloth with gold gilt lettering (‘PUNCH. 1904. 1.’ and ‘PUNCH. 1904. 2.’) and feature dark brown or black half-leather bindings with matching leather spines and corners, and marbled edges to the paper blocks. The third volume, identified internally as 1852, has marbled paper boards and a brown full-leather spine with ‘PUNCH’ and ’22’ in gold gilt. Internal pages confirm publication dates of 1904 for the two volumes and 1852 for the third, noting different London office addresses: ’85, Fleet Street’ for the 1852 volume and ’10, Bouverie Street’ for the 1904 volumes.
