A two-piece lot comprising an Art Nouveau reverse-painted mirror and a decorative wooden panel. The mirror, attributed to Alphonse Mucha, features a prominent reverse-painted design depicting a female profile with an elaborate coiffure and jewelry, holding a branch, set within decorative borders and motifs in red, black, and metallic gold on the mirrored surface. The design includes the text “NOSTALGIA” in a stylized font at the bottom and the year “1900” positioned above the figure’s head. The mirror is housed within a dark wooden frame. The accompanying rectangular wooden panel features a stylized rendering of a female figure in flowing garments, possibly beneath a tree, executed in a warm palette of oranges, browns, and subtle greens, indicative of an Art Nouveau or Japonisme aesthetic.
