A group of three British World War II campaign medals, comprising The Africa Star, The 1939-1945 Star, and The War Medal 1939-1945. The Africa Star and 1939-1945 Star are bronze ‘Stars’, while The War Medal 1939-1945 is a silver-colored circular medal on a bar, featuring a crowned profile of King George VI with the inscription ‘GEORGIVS VI D: G: BR: OMN: REX ET INDIAE IMP:’ on the obverse and ‘1939-1945’ with a lion motif on the reverse. Accompanying these is a small, reddish-brown fabric-bound ‘ARMY BOOK 64. SOLDIER’S SERVICE AND PAY BOOK, ‘ a ‘RESTRICTED’ paper pamphlet titled ‘Inspection maintenance and care of ‘B’ vehicles 1945′ issued by The War Office in April 1945, and a large folded diagrammatic chart titled ‘CHECKING THE SYSTEM’ for vehicle maintenance. Also included is a group of approximately eight black and white photographs depicting soldiers in uniform, some with military vehicles, and at least one woman in uniform.
