A group of British Army FAD No.2 Dress uniform jackets. Each jacket is constructed from an olive green/khaki-colored wool or similar blend fabric with a brown synthetic lining. They feature a notched lapel, two flapped breast pockets, two flapped lower pockets, and shoulder epaulets. The front is fastened with silver-colored buttons, each embossed with a crown and a lion rampant motif. Internal labels consistently identify the items as “JACKET, MAN’S, No.2 Dress, Army, All Ranks, ” with one specifically noting “Footguards.” They bear NATO Stock Numbers (e.g., 8405-99-958-1166), size specifications (e.g., 170/100/84 for height/chest/waist), contract details, and dates of manufacture ranging from September 2016 to September 2019. Some labels also include handwritten names such as “Dowie” or “DAVIES” and associated numbers, alongside the British broad arrow property mark. One jacket displays “GDS” on one shoulder epaulet and a partial “THAM” on the other, while another features a multi-colored ribbon bar pinned above the left breast pocket.
