A diverse collection of British police memorabilia, primarily from the mid-20th century. This lot includes four silver-toned metal cap badges, three bearing the inscription “DEVON & CORNWALL CONSTABULARY” around either an “ER” cypher or a crest surmounted by a crown, suggesting a post-1952 period. Accompanying these are two grey metal figurines depicting uniformed police officers, and a paper booklet titled “USEFUL DEFINITIONS FOR POLICE OFFICERS, ” dated “(as amended January, 1962), ” issued by the Police Mutual Assurance Society. Additionally, the collection features a carved smoking pipe, possibly meerschaum or bone, with an amber-colored mouthpiece, presented in a fitted, velvet-lined case. The lot also includes two T-shaped silver-toned metal objects, potentially boot pulls or similar tools.
