An antique combination pocket watch Albert chain mechanical pen. This mechanical pencil features a distinctive collapsible and segmented body designed to extend into a functional writing instrument. The pencil disassembles into two primary components: a main shaft composed of interlocking cylindrical sections, terminated with a small ring at one end and a lobster clasp at the other, and a separate pointed tip housing the lead mechanism. When assembled, the sections create a rigid, slender pen. No visible manufacturer’s marks or text.
