A Mid-Century Norwegian accordion-style sewing box, attributed to Strommen Bruk Hamar. Crafted from warm-toned wood, likely pine, with an amber finish. The design features an accordion-style opening mechanism that reveals multiple storage compartments when fully extended. It is supported by four cabriole-style feet and has a central arched carrying handle. The two hinged top lids each feature a small, round knob handle and a geometric marquetry or inlaid starburst pattern. The cantilever structure is secured with visible metal pivot pins.
