A 1997 Royal Mint United Kingdom Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Set, housed in its original red folder featuring a Union Jack design, containing eight modern British coins. Accompanying this set is a collection of British numismatic material, including numerous loose coins of varying denominations such as pence, shillings, florins, half crowns, and pounds. These loose coins feature portraits of monarchs including Queen Victoria, George V, George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II, with visible Latin inscriptions such as “ELIZABETH II D.G. REG. F.D.”. The collection also includes a Bank of England Ten Pounds banknote bearing the serial number DK60 6746. Further, a plastic bag contains a quantity of smaller copper-colored coins. The coinage material comprises various alloys, including copper, brass, and cupronickel.
