A Royal Doulton bone china figurine, ‘Meditation, ‘ model number HN2330. Depicting a woman in 18th-century style attire, seated at a small desk. The figurine portrays a woman with an elaborate updo, dressed in a red and cream gown with yellow floral patterns, holding a quill pen, with an open book and a yellow candlestick on the brown desk. The base is marked with the Royal Doulton crown logo, “ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND BONE CHINA, ” “MADE IN ENGLAND, ” “Meditation, ” “H.N. 2330,” “COPR 1970,” “DOULTON & CO LIMITED, ” and multiple “Rd No” (Registered Design) numbers including 947197, 56907, 12208, and 477/70. A small green initial mark, possibly “HC, ” is also present. Copyrighted in 1970, this model was retired in 1983.
