Auction 8th December - Antiques, Jewellery, Militaria, Coins, Vinyl, Toys, Ceramics, Collectables & More
A pair of porcelain figurines. The first, a Royal Adderley ‘Annette’ bone china figurine, depicts a woman in a Rococo-inspired 18th-century style dress, featuring a dark green polka-dotted gown with extensive white Staffordshire lace details, standing on a white and gold scrolling base. The base is marked “Adderley Floral & Figurine Co. Ltd. BONE CHINA STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND” with a crown emblem, along with the name “Annette” and “STAFFORDSHIRE LACE”. The second figurine, by Alka Dresden Decor, portrays a male bullfighter, identifiable by the gold script “Toreador” (visually “Toreso”) on the base, in a dynamic pose, wearing a traditional “traje de luces” in purple, black, and gold, holding a red cape, atop a white and gold base. This piece bears additional markings including “alka Dresden Decor” with a crown logo, and “made in Western Germany”.
Condition report:
Both figurines appear to be in good overall condition with no obvious chips or cracks visible. Minor wear consistent with age may be present.
