A traditional chess set comprising a wooden chessboard, a full complement of wooden Staunton-pattern chess pieces, and a separate storage box. The chessboard features alternating light and dark wood squares, framed by a darker solid wood border. The chess pieces are crafted from turned wood, with one army stained black and the opposing army in a natural, lighter wood tone. A rectangular storage box, covered in a textured brown material resembling faux leather, features brass-toned hinges and a clasp, and its interior is lined with burgundy felt, divided into two compartments. No discernible text or markings are visible on any components.
