An original framed oil painting by Dallas K. Taylor, titled “Morpeth ‘Stepping Stones’, ” and dated 1991. The artwork, executed with a heavy impasto technique, depicts an autumn landscape featuring a river or canal with a series of stepping stones or a weir structure, bordered by trees with vibrant fall foliage and distant buildings. The artist’s initialed signature “DKT” is visible within the paint in the lower right corner. This is corroborated by a handwritten full signature, title, and date “Dallas K Taylor 1991” on the cardboard backing board, which also indicates a “MADE IN U.S.A.” canvas panel. The painting is presented in an ornate gold frame with a textured finish, an inner gold fillet, and a beige linen-textured liner.
