A large collection of vintage postcards, primarily depicting various UK locations such as Llandudno, Blackpool, Southport, Walton-on-Naze, Hexham, and Gilsland. The collection comprises both photographic and illustrated cardstock postcards, featuring coastal scenes, townscapes, architectural views, and one humorous “Sleeping Beauties” postcard from Gilsland with a visible registration number and a rhyming couplet. The imagery includes black and white, sepia-toned, and early colorized prints, suggesting a period from late Victorian to early 20th century. Many postcards are preserved in clear plastic sleeves within black album pages/holders, while others are grouped in loose stacks.
