A collection of approximately seventeen glazed ceramic and porcelain decorative articles by Wade Porcelain, Made in England. The lot comprises various boat designs including river barges, rowing boats with a small bird figure, and stylized Viking longships with prominent dragonhead prows and patterned sides. The collection also includes a fluted, two-handled footed bowl in a warm brown tone, a similar but dark blue-green footed boat-shaped vessel, and three rectangular compartmentalized dishes in shades of brown and olive green. The items display a glossy glaze in a palette of earthy browns, tans, olive greens, and one dark blue-green. Several pieces, including a Viking longship, are clearly marked on the underside with raised text “WADE PORCELAIN MADE IN ENGLAND, ” with some also showing an impressed numeral “2.”
