Auction 8th December - Antiques, Jewellery, Militaria, Coins, Vinyl, Toys, Ceramics, Collectables & More
A group of four decorative figurines, two by Vittorio Tessaro and two by Claudio Brossi, crafted in a romantic, classical-inspired style indicative of late 20th or early 21st-century production. Each figure is made from a composite material, possibly cold-cast porcelain or resin, with a matte finish and hand-painted details. They depict slender female figures in various poses, featuring draped garments and abundant floral embellishments in muted pastel and earthy tones. Each figurine is mounted on an integrated, light-colored plinth with sculpted foliage, which in turn sits on a dark stained wooden base. Visible markings on the plinths include what appear to be handwritten signatures, the phrase “fatto a mano” (hand-made), “Italia” (Italy), and a copyright/date mark “CDI 1989” on at least one piece. Labels on the wooden bases identify two pieces as “Vittorio Tessaro” and two as “Claudio Brossi.” A yellow sticker with the number “763” is present on one base.
