A single hinged rectangular porcelain trinket box, marked Limoges S.S. France and Dubarry Paris. The box features a deep emerald green body decorated with scrolling gilt accents. The slightly domed lid is hand-painted (Peint Main) with a polychrome landscape scene depicting a man fishing on a riverbank. The box is secured by gilt metal fittings and a distinctive horse-form clasp. The interior is white glazed with small gold scroll accents. Markings visible on the base include the green stamp LIMOGES S.S. FRANCE and the gold stamp indicating Peint Main, Dubarry Paris, and MADE IN FRANCE.
