A single Blickensderfer No. 5 portable mechanical typewriter. The machine features a black painted metal body and utilizes a distinctive typewheel mechanism for printing. The key bank consists of round black keycaps arranged in a non-QWERTY layout. A brass plaque affixed to the central mechanism bears the inscription: “Nº 5 BLICKENSDERFER, NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE, MADE IN U.S.A.” The typewriter is housed within its original accompanying brown leather carrying case.
