A collection of 33 piece of English bone china tableware manufactured by Royal Albert in the popular “Old Country Roses” pattern, copyrighted 1962. The set includes a teapot with lid (2 pieces), a creamer/milk jug, a teapot saucer/serving plate, eight teacups, eight saucers, and nine larger plates. The pieces are executed in bone china with a white ground decorated with transfer-printed bouquets of deep red, pink, and yellow roses and foliage. All pieces are finished with prominent gold gilding along the scalloped edges, rims, and handles. The underside markings confirm the manufacturing details: “Old Country Roses / ROYAL ALBERT BONE CHINA ENGLAND / © 1962 ROYAL ALBERT LTD.”
