An English late Victorian or Edwardian tantalus set designed to hold three decanters. The case is constructed of polished oak, featuring a hinged lid, internal dividers, and a reflective back panel, likely mirrored glass. The exterior is accented with dark, ornate metal hardware, including stylized corner reinforcements, key escutcheons, and a large ring handle. The set includes three square-form clear glass decanters, each fitted with a facet-cut mushroom stopper. The decanters exhibit heavy geometric cutting in a quilted or hobnail pattern. The original key is present, tied to the side handle.
