A single piece of furniture designed as the base unit for a swing or shaving mirror, constructed from a dark, reddish-brown stained hardwood, likely mahogany or a similar species, finished with a high-gloss varnish. The rectangular base features molded decorative trim along the top and bottom edges and recessed side panels. It is supported by four stylized bracket feet. The front face includes at least one drawer, indicated by the presence of two dark metal ring pulls with decorative backplates. The top surface supports two vertical uprights, which are fitted with pivoting mechanisms with mirror . The pivoting hardware consists of dark, possibly cast iron or brass, spool-shaped mounts secured by fasteners, terminating in decorative C-ring swivel handles designed to allow rotation. No manufacturer’s markings or inscriptions are visible.
