A comprehensive collection of over 75 pieces of Royal Albert bone china tableware in the iconic Old Country Roses pattern. The service features white bodies decorated with transfer-printed clusters of deep red, pink, and yellow roses, accented by extensive gold gilt banding along the scalloped edges and handles. The backstamp visible on a piece confirms the pattern name, the maker Royal Albert Bone China, and the design origin date of 1962. The collection includes a full service for at least eight settings, comprising 8 cups, 12 dinner plates, 11 deep bowls, 23 assorted saucers and side plates, and 12 pieces of ancillary service ware. The ancillary pieces include a teapot with lid, a sugar bowl with lid, a large creamer, a gravy boat with its under-plate, a large oval serving platter, and a salt and pepper shaker set. Also included is a red presentation box containing eight Royal Albert Fine Melamine table mats (six table mats and two serving mats) in the matching floral pattern.
