The artwork depicts the historical figure General Guan Yu (關羽), confirmed by the accompanying card which details his role in “Reunion at Gucheng.” The figure is rendered in polychrome painted resin or composite material, wearing a red Hualian theatrical mask, an elaborate headdress adorned with faux pearls, and ornate green and orange military attire, seated with a large curved saber visible behind him. The sculpture is mounted within a rectangular red-painted wooden frame with a protective glass or acrylic cover. The lot includes the original brown cardboard packaging, marked with the brand name “Fengyatang, ” along with the phrases “國粹 民俗” (Heritage customs / Chinese culture) and “純手工製作” (Pure handicraft production).
