A single desk clock attributed to David Marshall, known as the D018 Perforated Clock model. The design is modernist and Brutalist, constructed of cast brass or brass-toned metal. The form features a solid, curved lower section supporting a circular inset quartz movement, topped by an abstract, organic openwork frame. The clock face is white with black Roman numeral hour markers and is marked QUARTZ. The front base exhibits a small, irregular cast signature or mark, consistent with Marshall’s work. The item includes an attached paper hang tag featuring a sepia photograph of a man, an apparent signature, and the inscription En Málaga desde 1968 (In Málaga since 1968), with Handmade in Spain on the reverse, supporting the Spanish origin noted in research.
