A single sterling silver figural object modeled as a reclining pig or hog. The surface is heavily textured to simulate bristly hair or fur. The figure is fully hallmarked near the rear base. The marks include the maker’s mark (FB over JB in a shaped cartouche, corresponding to Frederick Bradford & Joseph Bradford), the Lion Passant standard mark for sterling silver, the crowned Leopard’s Head city mark for London, and the date letter ‘T’ indicating the assay year 1914. The underside of the base is lined with a thin strip of dark green felt or fabric.
