A pair of limited edition ‘The Egyptian Chalices’ produced by Wedgwood Glass for John Sinclair Limited. The chalices are constructed of topaz-colored cameo glass with clear faceted stems and bases. The bowls are engraved with decorative foliage. Each chalice features a small black cameo medallion inset depicting a terracotta-toned silhouette profile, identified by the accompanying documentation as King Tutankhamun and Queen Ankhesenamun, respectively. The lot includes the original certificate of authenticity, which confirms the pair is numbered 135 in a limited edition of 500 pairs. The chalices are housed in a burgundy faux-leather presentation box labeled “Wedgwood Glass EGYPTIAN CHALICES” with a gold satin lining.
