A Pair of hand-carved wooden pricket candlesticks, attributed to the 18th-century style, featuring substantial construction and a medium-brown finish. Each candlestick features a wide, rounded base and a central shaft carved with a pronounced Solomonic (spiral) twist. Bulbous sections define the transition points at the top and bottom of the shaft. The bases are augmented by decorative metal wirework detailing. The tops are fitted with circular, patinated metal platforms centered by a single metal spike (pricket) designed to secure the candle. No visible manufacturer markings or text are present.
