A white glazed ceramic pedestal plant stand, attributed to Ardalt, Italy, and likely dating to the mid-20th century. The stand is constructed in two primary sections: a wide, deeply molded cachepot resting upon a substantial column that tapers slightly to a flared, molded base. The entire surface is covered in high-relief molded decoration consistent with the Baroque revival style, featuring elaborate scrolling grapevines and large clusters of grapes. The ceramic body is finished with a bright white glaze. No manufacturer’s marks or text are visible.
